ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋವಾ ಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ? ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಶೇಕೆಲ್ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ನಡು ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು ಅಂದನು.

And Joab said unto the man that told him, And, behold, thou sawest [him,] and why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? and I would have given thee ten [shekels] of silver, and a girdle.
